About Us

Beautiful Feet International (BFI) is a 501 (c) (3) mission agency that exists to recruit, encourage, train and mobilize volunteers with the Gospel of Christ to the world. We help local churches organize and implement trips specialized to their skills, desires and calling.

BFI provides evangelism training for local churches here and around the world. BFI also specializes in international pregnancy center ministries and is involved in starting and training centers in Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Honduras.

The BFI board is comprised of pastors, former full-time missionaries and active members from evangelical churches throughout Central Florida. As a "like faith" partnering organization, we work closely with the International Mission Board, the Seminole Baptist Association and mission-minded churches and agencies world-wide.

Recent trips include: India, China, Europe, Africa, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic and Haiti. Our vision is to offer diverse, affordable, safe, evangelistic mission trips around the world. Please pray about how God may lead you to partner with us.

Missionary Vision:

My husband and I served as missionaries in Costa Rica from 1997-1998. We had a call from God for overseas missions and we sold our house and most of our belongings and moved our family to Costa Rica. After one year, the Lord clearly told us to return to the U.S. It was very difficult for us and we resisted this for months. Only after much fasting, tears, and prayer did we surrender to the Lord to stay in the U.S. People ask if it was difficult to leave our lives in America. The answer is not really, but it was heartbreaking to leave the mission field. I could not understand why God would place such a strong call to missions in my heart and tell me to live in the U.S. I have come to understand that He desires for me to spread His vision for the lost souls of the world and to lead others to go. God has given me the privilege of leading teams to share the gospel around the world. Since 2000, I have led teams to Central America, Europe, the Caribbean, and Asia.

God has given me a vision to take people of all ages (our team members have ranged from ages 9-80) and all walks of life to fulfill the Great Commission. I have learned how to make these trips affordable by making food and housing arrangments myself with the help of people living in country, and have thereby eliminated substantial fees charged by agencies. Our trips are reasonably priced, safe and are always focused on evangelism. In addition to leading teams, I regularly take mission trips led by others so that I can learn from others and grow as a team leader.

I often hear people say that we don't need to go because there is plenty of work to do here. I respectfully disagree. The issue is access to the gospel. In America, the gospel is readily accessible to everyone. There are churches everywhere. The gospel is broadcasted fully and often on the television and radio. Bibles are easily accessible and often free. Billboards are erected proclaiming Bible verses. Everyone can hear the gospel. It is not so in much of the world. Millions of people have never heard the message of salvation through Jesus Christ, and live under government regimes that forbid them access. God has commissioned us to go and tell them of the redemptive work of Christ. It is our duty, our privilege, and our joy to obey. We have taken the word of God to Muslims, Communists, and those who practice voodoo, which is, of course, Satan worship.

My vision is to take many different types of trips that will appeal to all types of people. We have done VBS, medical clinics, drama, youth ministry, hut-to-hut evangelism and English teaching. We are currently being trained to conduct eye clinics in 3rd world countries. I want to be all things to all people in order to spread the gospel, as Paul said.

Decisions about where to go are made through much prayer. Whenever I meet and talk to people, I am looking to see if God will open a place for us to go or will use this person on a future team. God has brought people into my life and opened doors of ministry to places I would never have dreamed of going. Only through His divine provision have we been able to preach to Communists! For 9 years, I have been praying for the opportunity to bring the gospel to Sudan. I believe that we will someday. I have been praying for the opportunity to preach in Cuba for only one year and have recently seen political changes that may be ushering in the opportunity.

Safety for the team is always of utmost concern. Twice we have changed our destination due to political unrest. We are always alert and prepared to cancel anything that would place any team member in danger.

We believe that as we sacrifice our time, money, and personal conveniences to minister the gospel to those who have never heard, we are blessed beyond measure.

Rom. 10:13-15 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"

Is. 6:8 Also I have heard the voice of the Lord saying, whom shall I send and who will go for us? Then said I, here am I, send me.

Christ does not belong only to America, England, and other democratic countries. When he was crucified, one of his hands was stretched out toward the west, his other towards the east.
Richard Wurmbrand, Tortured for Christ

Statement of Faith:

We believe…

  1. ...that the Bible is the infallible, authoritative Word of God and that it is inspired by the Holy Spirit. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; John 1:1)
  2. ...that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The ongoing ministry of the Holy Spirit empowers us to live Godly lives and to express our personal faith in good works. (Mathew 28:19; Mathew 3:16-17; Galatians 4:4-6; Genesis 1:1-2; John 15:26; Ephesians 2:10; James 1:20; James 2:17-18)
  3. ...in the humanity and deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious crucifixion and atoning death, His bodily burial and resurrection. We believe in His personal ascension to the right hand of the Father where He now ministers as our Great High Priest and His future personal return to the earth in power and glory. (John 1:14; 1 Corinthians 15:1-6; Hebrews 7:26; Luke 21:27; Revelation 22:20)
  4. ...that there is only one way to salvation, and that is through Jesus and His redemptive work on the cross. “Whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life”. (Hebrews 5:9; John 3:16; John 14: 6; Ephesians 2:13; Romans 10:13)
  5. ...that man is created in the image of God, and each child in the womb is personally known and formed by God. God is the giver of Life. Human Life begins at conception, and is a treasure from God to be nurtured and protected. (Genesis 1:27; Acts 17:25; Psalm 139 )
  6. ...that because of the Fall, each member of the human race is sinful and in need of salvation. Salvation is a gift of God, based upon the finished work of Christ on the cross. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9; Ephesians 2: 1-5, 12-13; Romans 3:9-18, 23, 27; Romans 4: 1-4; Titus 3:4-5; 2 Timothy 1:8-9; Isaiah 44:20)
  7. ...in the resurrection of the saved to everlasting life and the resurrection of the unsaved to everlasting damnation. (John 4:36)
  8. ... in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. He is our head and we are the body, made to accomplish His works. (Ephesians 1:10; Ephesians 1:20-23; Ephesians 4:3-6)
  9. ...that there is One God and One Mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus. His sacrifice for our sins was once for all and eternal. (Hebrews 10:10, 12-14; Romans 3:30; 1 Timothy 2:5; Romans 6:10)
